Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of data profiling activities and deliverables from other vendors to ensure continuity in data discovery and profiling refinement.
- Review, update, and refine data mapping, standardization, and transformation rules to ensure data consistency across systems.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve critical data issues to ensure the integrity and quality of migrated data.
- Maintain version identification and mapping checklists to ensure tracking and accuracy of data migration.
- Collaborate with the IT team to prepare data and test cases for mock data migrations, dry runs, and dress rehearsals.
- Support data reconciliation and validation activities following data loads to ensure successful migration.
- Develop and maintain data migration dashboards for reporting on project health, status, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree in IT or any relevant field.
- Min. 3 years of IT Service Management (ITSM) experience, covering all phases of ITSM (e.g., ITIL).
- Min. 3 years of Data Analyst (DA) experience, including data profiling and mapping.
- Possess at least 2 years of working experience in banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL or other ITSM frameworks.
- Possess strong business communication skills in English and Japanese (to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders and clients).
- Experience in the Financial Industry or with IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Strong communication and client engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
