About the Role:
As a consultant in our Insurance Practice, you will support and deliver a broad range of consulting engagements across the insurance value chain. This role is suited for candidates who are passionate about the insurance industry, enjoy solving business problems, and are eager to grow their careers in consulting. We welcome both experienced candidates and high potential new graduates.
You will work closely with senior team members to support business analysis, project execution, and client engagement activities for life, non life, and reinsurance clients across Southeast Asia. You will also contribute to internal initiatives such as market research, thought leadership, and business development.

Responsibilities:
Business consulting & Analysis
- Support end to end business analysis activities, including:
- Gathering, validating, and prioritizing business requirements
- Assessing current processes and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting solution design for digital transformation and process optimisation projects
- Contribute to functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and other project documentation
- Assist in project management activities such as:
- Project planning and timeline tracking
- Risk and issue identification
- Coordination across client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
- Support quality assurance activities including test preparation, execution, and defect follow-up.
- Support research, benchmarking, and preparation of market insights for the insurance sector.
- Contribute to proposal development, solutioning discussions, and pre sales materials.
- Participate in internal innovation or intellectual capital development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Possesses a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computing or a related disciplines. Candidates from other disciplines with strong analytical skills, encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and structured communication. Possess curiosity and the ability to quickly understand different insurance business models
- Willingness to engage with clients, including multinational insurers. Demonstrate teamwork, integrity, and initiative in a consulting environment. The ability to present ideas clearly in meetings and workshops is an added advantage
- At least 1 year of experience in insurance or insurance related projects (life, non-life, or reinsurance) will be an advantage
- Experience or exposure to business analysis, project coordination, or IT implementation projects.
- Ability to work in a structured, detail oriented, and analytical manner.
- Interests in insurance operations and digital transformation.
- Knowledge of insurance accounting, underwriting, claims, or policy administration processes is a plus.
- Prior exposure to digital or technology led initiatives could be an advantage such as:
- Data analytics / business intelligence
- RPA or workflow automation
- Digital portals (sales, claims, customer service)
- Policy administration or core system implementation projects
