We are looking for an experienced SAP IS Retail Senior Consultant with strong SAP MM (Materials Management) expertise to support end to end implementation, rollout, and AMS engagements for retail clients. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA IS Retail solutions that align with business strategy and operational excellence.

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP IS Retail Senior Consultant with strong SAP MM (Materials Management) expertise to support end to end implementation, rollout, and AMS engagements for retail clients. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA IS Retail solutions that align with business strategy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver SAP IS Retail solution design, configuration, and implementation across retail business processes including merchandise management and supply chain.
- Provide strong functional leadership in SAP MM, including procurement, inventory management, valuation, and logistics integration.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and scalable SAP solutions.
- Configure and support IS Retail components such as article master, site management, assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Work closely with cross functional teams (SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, POS, CAR where applicable) to ensure end to end integration.
- Support S/4HANA IS Retail projects including system conversion, rollout, and enhancement initiatives.
- Lead and support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), defect triage, and resolution.
- Provide post go live support, AMS services, and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Engage with client stakeholders to align SAP solutions with business objectives and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 6–12 years of relevant SAP consulting experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years in SAP IS Retail.
- Strong hands on experience in SAP MM (Materials Management) – mandatory.
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA, preferably in IS Retail environments.
- Solid understanding of retail business processes including procurement, inventory, merchandising, and logistics.
- Experience in end to end SAP implementation and/or AMS support projects.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead workstreams in complex project environments.
- Experience with Retail Article Lifecycle, Listing/Delisting, and Master Data automation, SAP WM/EWM, SD, FI/CO, or Retail POS integration are a plus.
- Experience in regional or global retail rollouts is a plus.
- SAP certification in IS Retail and/or SAP MM is a plus.
