Project Outline:
This project focuses on establishing and enhancing ABeam’s Testing Practice and Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). The QA Manager will lead testing strategy, governance, automation enablement, and quality engineering initiatives across multiple client accounts. Responsibilities include standardizing testing frameworks, improving automation maturity, developing reusable assets, and supporting presales and delivery engagements.

The QA Manager will lead testing strategy, governance, automation enablement, and quality engineering initiatives across multiple client accounts. Responsibilities include standardizing testing frameworks, improving automation maturity, developing reusable assets, and supporting presales and delivery engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain testing standards, frameworks, and methodologies (manual and automation).
- Lead test planning, test strategy, test estimation, and overall test governance for enterprise programs.
- Oversee QA delivery across multiple client projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
- Manage and mentor QA teams; develop capability roadmap and competency building for testers.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand testing requirements and propose solutions.
- Drive automation adoption using tools such as ACCELQ, Tosca, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support presales through proposal creation, effort estimation, and presenting QA solutions to clients.
- Develop reusable templates, test assets, accelerators, and automation framework components.
- Align testing practice and quality engineering strategies with business units (BFSI, Retail).
- Track QA metrics and KPIs to promote continuous improvement.
- Identify risks related to testing and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support governance for regional and multi-country rollout testing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in any field.
- At least 9 years of experience in QA, Testing Management, or Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience driving QA delivery and leading testing strategy for BFSI or enterprise retail programs.
- Experience managing large testing teams and multiple concurrent engagements.
- Proven experience setting up testing frameworks, QA governance, or Testing CoE.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in requirement clarifications, workshops, and test governance reviews.
- Proficiency in ACCELQ/TOSCA (preferred) or Selenium/WebDriver.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with test management platforms including JIRA, Zephyr, qTest, and ALM.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and quality engineering concepts.Experience working in a banking project and consulting firm is a plus.
