The SAP HXM practice in ABeam Singapore focuses on delivering high-quality SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HR transformation programs for large and complex customers across Singapore and the region.

Role Overview
ABeam Consulting Singapore is looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Senior Consultant to join our SAP HXM practice. The consultant will play a key role in leading and delivering SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation projects for enterprise customers in Singapore and the region. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, a good understanding of end-to-end HR business processes, and the ability to work closely with clients, project managers, functional consultants, technical teams, and offshore delivery teams. This role requires someone who can independently manage Employee Central workstreams, lead workshops, provide solution recommendations, support project delivery, and contribute to high-quality implementation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for large enterprise customers.
  • Conduct business requirement workshops with HR, IT, payroll, integration, and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into scalable SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions.
  • Configure Employee Central modules including Foundation Objects, Generic Objects, Position Management, Workflow, Business Rules, Role-Based Permissions, Global Assignments, Concurrent Employment, Event Reasons, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including business process design documents, configuration workbooks, functional specifications, test scripts, cutover plans, and training materials.
  • Provide solution guidance based on SAP SuccessFactors best practices and Singapore HR process requirements.
  • Work closely with integration, payroll, time management, reporting, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
  • Support data migration activities including data template preparation, data validation, mock loads, and production cutover.
  • Lead and support system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and go-live preparation.
  • Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and stabilization support during hypercare.
  • Coordinate with project managers, offshore teams, and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Mentor junior consultants and support internal knowledge sharing within the SAP HXM team.
  • Contribute to presales activities, solution estimations, proposal preparation, and customer demonstrations when required.
  • Ensure solution quality, documentation completeness, and compliance with ABeam delivery standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of SAP SuccessFactors implementation experience, with strong hands-on experience in Employee Central.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Employee Central configuration experience.
  • Must have completed at least 3 full-cycle SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects.
  • Experience working on Singapore-based SAP SuccessFactors projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience handling large-scale implementation projects with employee populations of 15,000+ employees.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore HR processes, employment practices, local compliance considerations, and enterprise HR operating models.
  • Good overall understanding of the SAP SuccessFactors suite, including Employee Central, Time Off, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, and Employee Central Payroll.
  • Experience working with integrations between SuccessFactors and external systems such as payroll, finance, identity management, benefits, and third-party HR applications.
  • Experience working in global or regional implementation projects with multiple countries, legal entities, business units, and employee groups.
  • Strong hands-on configuration skills in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Good understanding of HR master data, organization structures, position management, workflows, business rules, permissions, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to lead client workshops and drive requirement discussions independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to propose practical, scalable, and best-practice-based solutions.
  • Good documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with client teams, internal project teams, offshore teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative working style.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight project timelines.
  • Comfortable working in a consulting environment with direct client interaction.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification will be preferred
  • Additional certifications in other SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Time Off, Time Tracking, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Recruiting, or Employee Central Payroll would be an advantage.
  • Experience in SAP Activate methodology.
  • Experience with data migration, integration testing, cutover planning, and production support.
  • Experience in working with large Singapore public sector, education, transport, healthcare, financial services, or enterprise customers would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration, Integration Center, or API-based integrations would be beneficial.
